“The issue of mass graves will be raised in international organizations” – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov told ARB24

A mass grave was discovered in the territory of Sarıjali village of Aghdam region, which was liberated from occupation. It should be noted that a mass grave was discovered in the territory of the Shusha prison in the city of Shusha some time before.

Earlier, mass graves were discovered in Dashalti village of Shusha region, Edilli village of Khojavend region, Farrukh village of Khojaly region, Yukhari Seyidahmedli village of Fuzuli region, Kalbajar, Agdam and other settlements. So far, more than 400 human remains have been found from the discovered mass graves.

Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a human rights defender who is currently participating in the Summer Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France, said that the issue of mass graves will be raised in international organizations and Armenia will have to answer for these war crimes in international courts.
