The elections to be held in Turkiye are hours away. Today, the propaganda campaign has been suspended throughout Turkiye.
Recent analyzes show that the chances of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan winning this time are high. Although the opposition is stronger and more organized than in the previous elections, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’s chances of winning are small.
Political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov in his interview to Indian Television Wion TV, said that the social difficulties in the country, serious problems faced by Turkiye after the earthquake, especially the presence of millions of Syrians and other refugees in the country, made the majority of citizens dissatisfied with the current government. Nevertheless, the international political, military and economic advantages achieved by Turkiye in the last 20 years were made possible thanks to the services of the government of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Stating that the society is divided into two parts on the issue of elections, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that the May 14 elections are the most critical, decisive and intense elections in the history of Turkiye: “These are critical elections for Erdogan, but the opposition has few chances.”
