In Sweden, recent racist and fascist activities, which reflect hostility to Turkiye and Islam, have been causing dissatisfaction. The provocative action of members of the PKK terrorist organization against the Turkish state in Stockholm, as well as the burning of the Koran by Rasmus Paludan, the leader of the far-right political party Stram Kurs, in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm are part of these provocations.
Political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who spoke on the issue in the “Foreign Affairs” program broadcast on the BBNTurk channel, emphasized that racist and fascist activities in Sweden have already crossed the red line and the importance of strongly protesting against Sweden in this matter: “This issue is not only against Turkiye, but against the entire Turkic-Islamic world. It is a provocation. The Organization of Turkish States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international organizations should urgently make strong statements and issue a note of protest to the Swedish government.”
