President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met today with President of the European Council Charles Michel and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels.

The issue of demining of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan was on the agenda at the meeting, and it was noted that the European Union is ready to provide technical assistance to Azerbaijan in this direction.

Both sides agreed to establish a temporary working group on the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. At the same time, the issue of opening communication and transport lines was widely discussed. The Armenian side has reaffirmed its commitment to build a railway from its territory. It was noted that the Armenian side will soon begin construction of the railway. It was agreed to ensure customs and border control on a reciprocal basis.

In his interview to Turkish ON4 Television, the head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov spoke about the Brussels meeting in the “The Case itself” program and answered questions from host Muhammed Acar.
