Karabakh summit in Moscow: The parties signed a joint statement – Ahmad Shahidov spoke to the Ulusal Channel

Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia Ilham Aliyev, Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in Moscow on January 11 and signed a joint statement.

In an interview to Turkey’s Ulusal TV, Ahmad Shahidov, head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, said the document signed after the meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia in Moscow is important in terms of lifting the economic blockade: “This is an important document and a great achievement. This agreement will also benefit Armenia, which economy is largely paralyzed and has been closed for all these years, has no trade relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey.”
