Head of AIDHR inks cooperation agreement in Qatar

Ahmad Shahidov, human rights defender reached a pivotal agreement in Doha

Cooperation agreement has been signed between Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights and the National Human Rights Committee of Qatar on February 18 in Doha, Qatar. The document which singed by Ahmad Shahidov Head of AIDHR and Sultan Hasan Al Jamali, the National Human Rights Committee of Qatar’s Deputy Secretary General envisages forthcoming mutual collaboration between two organizations.

In his remarks Ahmad Shahidov Head of AIDHR underscored that the agreement highlights crucial provisions and seeks implementation of groundbreaking projects between AIDHR and Qatar or other Arabian countries.

At the end of the signing ceremony, Sultan Hasan Al Jamali was presented encyclopedic book titled “Kharabakh; past and present” which contains Azerbaijani realities. He was also officially informed about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and situation of more than one million refugees.
