Ahmad Shahidov convey his concern to OSCE’s official with regard to hostages of Kalbajar region
OSCE international conference dedicated to the Combat against human trafficking was kicked off on November 4, 2014 in Vienna, Austria. The conference attended by Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, OSCE officials, representatives of the member states, diplomats and as well as Ahmad Shahidov, Head of Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR).
In the frame of the conference Mr. Shahidov held a meeting with, OSCE Chairperson’s Personal Representative Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. During the short meeting Head of AIDHR touched upon OSCE’s measures carried out on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and noted importance of peaceful resolution of the conflict. While commenting on unconstructive position of Armenia on negotiations, Mr. Shahidov mentioned hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev. He also conveyed Azerbaijanis’ concerns to Andrzej Kasprzyk. In his turn Mr. Kasprzyk said that he would look into the issue and shared his views on the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
