Armenian citizen moved to the Azerbaijani side

The Defense Ministry press service reported on Monday evening, August 26, an Armenian citizen Ananyan Sarkis Norikovich born in 1961 crossed the border and appeared in Azerbaijan near the village of Kamarli in the Gazakh district. There he was arrested by the military.

As it turned out, he is a resident of the Noyemberyan region.

As the cause of his transfer to the Azerbaijani side, Ananyan showed the poor socio-economic conditions in Armenia and his intention to seek asylum in Azerbaijan.
