Discussions on Khojaly genocide and Azerbaijani hostages at Turkish “Ulusal Channel” Television

Ahmad Shahidov, head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, who is on a working visit in Turkey, was a guest at the live broadcast of Turkish “Ulusal Channel” Television, on February 26. Responding to the questions of Seda Anik, the presenter of the “Gunaydin Turkiye” program, the human rights defender informed about the 27th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide and spoke about the Armenian atrocities and said that the world community have not given a sufficient legal and political assessment to the genocide.

Speaking about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ahmad Shahidov briefed about Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev and spoke about the work done to ensure their liberation.
