On March 18, a two-day conference titled “The Role of Media During Conflicts and Humanitarian Crises” continued its work in Vienna, Austria. The event was organized by the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, and the OSCE Finnish Secretariat.
Ambassadors, diplomats, and official representatives from 57 countries attended the conference, where issues regarding media freedom, the safe operation of journalists, and disinformation in the OSCE region were discussed.
