On September 28, the Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe continued its work in Strasbourg, France. After the Azerbaijani delegation’s activities in PACE were frozen last year, anti-Azerbaijani forces in PACE have become significantly more active. It is expected that new decisions will be adopted against Azerbaijan and new restrictions will be imposed at this Winter Session.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a human rights defender who is currently in Strasbourg, France and closely participating in the PACE Winter Session, gave an interview to Baku TV and shared his views on the discussions and propaganda trends regarding Azerbaijan in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
