On September 25 the next sessions of Human Dimension Implementation Meeting of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) has been continued with the participation of high raked officials, ministers, Ambassadors, NGOs representatives and human rights advocates from 57 OSCE participating states. The meeting featured discussions on democratic elections, transparent elections, political parties’ involvement into elections processes and the issue of human rights.
Joining the discussions Ahmad Shahidov Head of Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) made a speech on upcoming parliamentary elections which will take place in Azerbaijan on November 1 and underscored significance of the election in terms of democracy.
Head of AIDHR also brought it to the attendees’ attention that he had run his candidacy from Qakh region constituency number 112. He went to say that AIDHR had accredited 70 representatives to carry out election observation mission on elections day. He also pledged that he would provide OSCE, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, PACE and other organization with the outcomes of elections.
