Ali Hasanov Denies Political Motives in Criminal Case against Ismayilova

An employee of Radio Azadlig Khadija Ismayilova is a suspect in a specific crime and arrested by the court. The head of the socio-political department of the Presidential Administration, Ali Hasanov commented the arrest of the journalist this way.

“The statement of the Prosecutor General excludes the presence of any political motive in the arrest of the journalist. The statements voiced by several local and foreign circles are biased and unfounded, giving the impression that the process is regulated from a particular center. I think that these politicized statements are aimed at pressure on the law enforcement investigation in this case,” AzerTAJ quotes Hasanov.
