At 11:45 am the human rights activist Leila Yunus was detained at her home, her husband Arif Yunusov said.
“Leila left the house and was going to go to IRFS for a conference.
The car in which she was going was attacked right in the yard. The car was stopped and three people in civil clothes got into it. Neither Leila Khanum, nor the driver answers the calls. Apparently it was the Prosecutor General’s Office,” wrote Arif Yunusov.
In turn, the public defender Yusif Agayev said that he could not get through to Ibrahim Lemberansky the investigator to find out the reason for the detention.
At about 12:00 Arif Yunusov reported that six people were knocking on his door, threatening to break the metal door. Yunusov does not answer phone calls.
