Armenians firing on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline was discussed on TRT Arabia Channel

From October 6, 2020, until 11 p.m., the Armenian occupants fired massively at the Yevlakh region, where the civilian population lives, and through which the BTC oil pipeline runs. The striking of an area far from the combat zone was carried out with cluster bombs that fell 10 meters from the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

The main export oil pipeline BTC is of exceptional strategic importance in the context of the economic, political, and energy security of Azerbaijan and Georgia, Turkey, the entire region, and European and world states.

Another war crime committed by Armenia is a crime not only against Azerbaijan but also against regional countries and all of Europe.

Speaking on TRT Arabia, human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov, head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, said that the Armenian army violated the ceasefire, fired on the villages on the line of contact and killed civilians. The human rights defender said that Armenia must withdraw its soldiers from all occupied territories and stressed the need to restore the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. And only then can we talk about the possibility of any peace talks between the sides.
