Ahmad Shahidov speaks about ways to resolve Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at a roundtable in London

Ahmad Shahidov, the head of the Information Center for Azerbaijani Captives and Hostages, who is on a business trip to the UK, spoke at a roundtable in London, on December 2. Human rights defender provided detailed information on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, spoke about the war facing Azerbaijan and its humanitarian implications, and gave extensive information on Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs, as well as captives and hostages.

Noting the importance of the peaceful settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan-Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the human rights defender said that both sides should be prepared for peace, the norms and principles of international law must be implemented and fair peace must be ensured.

During the roundtable with the participation of political elites of London, active public and political figures, the sides exchanged views on various issues.
