Informal meeting of energy ministers of the “Eastern Partnership” to be held in Baku

On September 8 Baku will host the fourth informal meeting of energy ministers of the member countries of the EU “Eastern Partnership.” The meeting will be held at the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the meeting will be attended by the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan – Natig Aliyev, Minister of Energy of Georgia – Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Energy and Coal of Ukraine – Yuriy Prodan, Minister of Energy of Moldova Adrian Candu, Deputy Energy Minister of Belarus Vadim Zakrevitsky and vice -President European Commission Günther Oettinger, and other officials.

During the meeting Baku will host discussions on “The European Union and the diversification of energy routes and energy security” in the “Eastern Partnership”.
